Apps like Discord, MeWe, & Guilded facilitate indepth converstaions that often tailspin into other topics. They are perfect for theorycrafting & casual conversations. However, as the server grows thought provoking converstaions are burried under the spam. Sites like Twitter & Facebook tend to have a more curated selection in their topics. Given that the follow & block features present on these sites allows the reader to curate who they follow; & by extention the content they see. This extends to YouTube aswell. However, personal feelings & politics often get in the way of these discussions. While political conversations are nessary, they tend to have the effect of ostricizing those's whose oppinions would be controversial. Yoon Suin The Purple Land, is a Dungeons & Dragons setting written by David McGrogan. The setting was my introduction to the Table Top Roleplaying Hobby, and has been my go to setting ever since. After seeing the success of the recently kickstarted second edition of the setting, I decided to expand upon the Topaz Isles; a region within the setting that I felt was underdeveloped. There was just one issue, being a college student, I needed to somehow incorporate this project into my school work, inorder to justify the time I was spending on it.
